How the Democrat party left me

For the first big chunk of my life I felt closely drawn to the Democrat party. It seemed the obvious choice. For anyone who really cared for the poor, people struggling in life or the environment, the Democrat party was your only answer. How could someone really want anything else and feel good about yourself? 

Who wouldn't want these things? Who doesn't stand up against the greedy, fat, white Republicans who just want to trample any person or our planet who gets in their way on their path to riches. 

My desire for equal rights, economic values and caring for our planet never waned, though as I aged, action towards these efforts were never made by my party. Ever. Sure, there is plenty of talk, but when I take a step back and look at the world, there is no real action happening. 

If there is a group pushing for all of these things that I've been wanting for our world, it definitely isn't the Democrats. It hasn't been for a very long time.

John F. Kennedy's dream of lower taxes, increased employment, racial equality and patriotism is long gone. The words of JFK now sound much like a speech given today by the right wing extremist tea party. Now we are pushing for more taxes, more hate and full federal control of our lives. Imagine the Nazi and fascist comments the Democrat party members would be making if JFK were to give one of his speeches today!

Instead, we have Gates, Zuckerberg and their friends who seem to have full control over what people think. Our party is no longer about loving or lifting others, but about socialism and hating. I'm not sure when this changed took place but it seems to have been gradual over the past couple of decades since hippies were calling for small government and free love.

I believe we should take better care of our earth, I believe all people, regardless of race, religion or whatever else is on that long list of stuff, should be treated equally and given equal opportunities. We should trust science. And these are the reasons I will never vote for a democrat again. 

Today, we are hyper-focused on segmenting the world into different categories and then making one evil and one a victim. We really hate the 4th of July, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Christmas, Easter and anything that might celebrate Jesus, our country or freedom. We hate men, whites, Asians, Muslims, Jews, Christians and democracy. 

Somehow, the most righteous hate we have is hate for ourself. 

No one is born to hate, but we work diligently to teach people to hate. If you are gender/race/religion/etc X then you are a victim and all these other people hate you. But you can be on our side with other enlightened people in sticking up for these. The quickest way it seems today to learn to hate someone is to follow popular news media. If you don't hate anyone yet, try watching CNN, Fox and MSNBC for a bit. If you believe what they say, you'll soon be taught to hate. 

It seems that the "media" outlets are crucial to this huge shift in the focus of the Democrat party. It is almost like the media can't win on letting people see what is happening in the world, so they create an alternate reality. There are victims and oppressors and we divide society up into the two. Those who learn they are victims must join the enlightened and fight back. Of course we shouldn't speak with those that the media tells is our oppressor. We should cut ties with them, family, friends, employers, businesses or anyone else who we learn is our oppressor. We should never talk to them, which I believe is paramount because if we talk with other people, we'd probably learn the truth. Religion and other media outlets have to go because people are looking for another source of truth.  

Years ago I learned that you should never believe either side in the event of a divorce. You will speak with one person and learn about the villainous actions of the other person. Likely, you won't want to speak with that person again, but if it happens, you learn more of the picture and find out that other person isn't a villain at all. It seems that our Democrat run media has learned this and they fully understand that if we talk to each other, great things will happen and we will come to an understanding with each other. Preventing communication is the most important thing for the Democrat party.

The problem is that sometimes people talk to those friends. Sometimes we look up the studies or tweets behind what the media is telling us. We may watch the full speech instead of a 2 second clip. We may do the research on our own and then we learn a widely different story. We find the president never said that. The tweet was about something else. The study never found anything about climate change. 

Give it a try! Next time CNN says Christians, Jews, or Muslims believe something, go ask one of them what they think before you cut ties with an entire segment of the population. 

Now we have 95% of news outlets, sports figures, actors and other celebrities all independently say the exact same thing and share the exact same beliefs. Half of the country follows this wave believing they are also independent and enlightened just like the people we follow. 

Somehow the only way to rid the world of hate and to save our earth is to vote Democrat with the goal of implementing socialism. With socialism, climate change and racism will cease and peace will reign.

Even after starting the KKK and starting Planned Parenthood to rid the world of the handicap and black people, we should vote Democrat.

Social media posts or internet searches will suppress or take down any post that share beliefs that are not in line with what these 95% are telling us. Remember the outrage when Elon bought Twitter and we were all furious with Twitter because they weren't going to block posts that didn't closely align with the message like they had been doing before? Allowing differences of opinion to be openly expressed set off our whole party!

The network news has been the downfall of the democrat party. In a research class in college, we studied how to really research topics and also how to evaluate the results. This really fascinated me. Now when the news says "studies show" or "scientists agree" or "doctors are telling us", I like to look at the studies behind the articles. I'm not sure if I have found a story yet where a study really said what the news is claiming it says. 

This is fascinating. 

Possibly the most ironic thing is that the way to equality is through hate. If we want to raise up a certain race, we must hate white people. Equality for women can only be obtained through hating men. Help the poor? Yup, bring the rich down! It seems funny to me that so many people say we need to Love everyone so we should vote democrat, though there doesn't seem to be any love here, just hate. Sure, we can say we love gay people, but that hollow pronouncement is where it ends. 

Now we ban books teaching different philosphies, block any media outfit that doesn't align tightly with our beliefs, get rid of their free speech, religions, guns and block any other way of thinking all while we call everyone else Nazis. 

Remember when we used to be about helping poor people? Lifting those in need up? Helping the environment? Let's get back there. On a previous post I wrote about how the Republican party left me but I also feel that they are far ahead of us lifting those in need. Even President Obama from only a few years ago would be considered a rightwing extremist today.

How to free ourselves from the Democrat party? Talk to people! Talk to everyone of different religions, backgrounds, sects, colors and see why they feel like they do. Learn how they think and feel. Talk to Republicans, those of different religions, different backgrounds, different races and you will learn how fascinating people truly are.
