THE GREAT STATE OF UTAH I was born and raised in the great state of Utah and I love it. Over my life, I have had the blessing of visiting some 35-40 states and a handful of different countries. This world has some amazingly awesome places, but Utah is the best. Recently my family and I took a trip to the Moab area of Utah and it is absolutely stunning! Standing in this area, it is hard to believe that there is another part of this earth that is as beautiful and unique. God was definitely in a fantastic mood when he created my state. Any good sports discussion will evolve to talk about who is the GOAT. The Greatest Of All Time is something we are drawn to debate. It must be done. However, it is extremely difficult to compare players in different eras, different times and different decades. Is Steph Curry in today's league better than Wilt Chamberlain 50 years ago? My good friend Jeremy Smith blogs frequently about topics that he is passionate about.  He studies a topic thoroughly and then blogs about it. I thought this was a great idea and wanted to do something similar.  My goal is to start studying topics that may (or may not) be more controversial and blog about them.  My goal is to do some research and compile my thoughts as to what I feel on a certain topic.  My hope is to be able to research and post something regularly.  I don't know if many other people will ever read these but I'll enjoy the journey and the research.   Also, I really know nothing about blogging so be patient with my attempts until I better learn what is going on!  And I ask for your patience and understanding if I happen to express feelings that may be different from your own.  I'd love to hear your thoughts whether they are similar or different from mine as I feel that is the true course to true understanding and peace on earth! :-) Thank you
